Here is an image that we consider a miraculous signature of Lord Ganesha.  I define a miracle as a synchronous natural event that demonstrates the reality of intelligent presence, of animism (not as something supernatural).

There were unusual lights on the temple room floor.  They were coming from the sun filtered through black walnut tree and window.  One day, they were in an unusual place and there were an unusual number of separate patches of light, all dancing wildly in an unusual way around a gemstone medicine wheel on the floor.  If I remember correctly, Lucina the cat also had something to say about it.  Or one of them, in any case.  I felt that there was some significance to it, but it was so fast I couldn't "read" anything about it.  So, I do what I often do with such things, and prayerfully froze a moment of it with the camera.  Isis once told me  "Everything that happens in the temple is hiera, everything that is spoken in the temple is hiera, everything that is seen from the temple is hiera," so an unusual display of lights merited some note...

This kind of calling card also happened when Malek Taus and Ganesha appeared before a post-camp Krishna altar... later kicking off my introduction to Malek Taus/Deo Pavo.

This image has also been significant to a few other people, friends or folks who found it online or saw it on the altars at camp.  It seems to have a blessing power, and I think he was coming partly in response to some Reiki work I was doing (in his white form, he unexpectedly "appeared" at my Reiki I attunement and put a beating heart in my hands while the symbols where being put there).  When I do Reiki, it's in this room, and this is now the picture of Ganesha that we display in that room.   Click for bigger... his head is distinct, enhaloed by the medicine wheel, but his whole seated body is there.
